Fresh Food Connect is based in Denver, Colorado and they work nationwide to connect growers and gardeners to food pantries and food banks. UC Merced is partnering with them to use the app to encourage folks to donate surplus garden produce to the People’s Fridge at 936 W. 18th St. Merced, CA. This will help us 1.) increase food security by providing healthy produce to those in need and 2.) to make sure no garden produce goes to waste. Download the app for free to start donating.
