Fisher Scientific partnership to support Green Labs

Overview

With support from the University of California’s Office of the President (UCOP), Fisher Scientific will provide $10,000 per year for four years ($40,000 total), beginning in 2022, to support UC Merced’s Green Labs efforts.

In 2022, funds are available to support rebates on the purchase of ENERGY STAR-, EPEAT-, or WaterSense- certified items, in accordance with UC’s Sustainable Procurement Guidelines and UC’s Sustainable Practices Policy, from the Fisher catalog by campus research laboratories. Rebates will be up to $2,500 per application, one application per faculty member; shared applications are encouraged (but not required). Funds will be transferred to UC campuses from UCOP and awarded by the UC Merced Office of Sustainability.
