Take a Hike Day is celebrated on November 17th to encourage people to embrace the great outdoors and embark on a refreshing hiking adventure. It promotes physical activity, mental well-being, and an appreciation for nature. UC Merced's Outdoor Experience Program helps students and faculty with planning or participating in outdoor activities.
