Help celebrate Earth Month with the Office of Sustainability by joining our panel discussion with Dr. Asmeret Asefaw Berhe on April 2 (Friday) at 4PM via Zoom. Dr. Berhe is a professor of Soil Biogeochemistry and the Flasco Chair in Earth Sciences at the Department of Life and Environmental Sciences at the University of California, Merced. She is also the interim Dean of the Graduate Division at UC Merced, a past chair of the US National Committee on Soil Science at the National Academies and Associate Editor of AGU's Journal of Geophysical Research - Biogeosciences and Elementa. Dr. Berhe's focuses her research on biogeochemical cycling of essential elements in soil systems.
