Professor Paul Almeida, Rasha Naseif, and Isabelle Haddad employed a decarbonization survey in the spring of 2021 and fall of 2023 among undergraduate students here at UC Merced. It engaged with around 1 out of every 14 students on campus at the time, and displayed that students report beliefs about climate change that are consistent with just transition action strategies already in place.
