Biography: Lizzy Anast (she/her/hers) is the Sustainability Coordinator at Clemson University who specializes in waste diversion.

She has a business degree in marketing and sales, and a master's in sustainability planning and management.

Anast has a vast knowledge of how municipal recycling facilities operate and the common challenges associated with processing materials.

ln her current role, she is working to increase diversion rates on campus by providing education to all faculty, staff and students.
