Food Connect is a resource that connects the Merced County Community with food and other resources. Our goals are to decrease food insecurity, reduce food waste, help farmers sell, and promote food justice. Through the use of Facebook and Twitter, Food Connect shares valuable resources pertaining to food, sustainable practices, gardening, farming, and more! Community members are able to submit requests to have their own posts published on the social media platforms, whether it be an item for sale, an event, a resource, a wanted post, or a job, Food Connect will post it. Food connects us, and we connect you with food!
